Although¡¡the¡¡ingenious¡¡pieces¡¡of¡¡work¡¡which¡¡he¡¡turned¡¡out¡¡by¡¡his

lathe¡¡did¡¡not¡¡bring¡¡him¡¡in¡¡much¡¡money£»¡¡he¡¡liked¡¡the¡¡occupation¡¡so

much¡¡better¡¡than¡¡slating¡¡that¡¡he¡¡was¡¡gradually¡¡giving¡¡up¡¡that¡¡trade¡£
