  P6
The first time when I met Ariel was in Taipei; and 2nd time when Imet Ariel
again was in the US and it was first time Ariel in the US soit was a very
special trip for her; full of excitement and curiosity and we are pleased to
have her around。
Ariel was attending the film academy in NY and our home in Bostonwas a nesting
stop; we have spent weeks before the school started;most of time we have
experienced the OLD New England〃s oldcharm ‘FALLINGEDGE’; the tree turned into
all shades of red and walking on the ground with leaving sound; a ‘PICTURE
FRECT’scene。 We have Visited a local art fair; everything is one of kind
hand…made by the local artists from painting; jewelry to gourmet food;visited a
Sunday yard sale; the thrill of getting some unique things ona dollar or
fraction of market price; a local gourmet breakfast which satisfied our big
appetite on ‘everyone favor’s omelet’ to blueberry pancake sharing the laughing
on the table and that is ‘PRICELESS’;and a tradition Halloween Sees little
Tricker Treat dressing all kinds costumes knocking on the door asking ‘giving me
something good to eat (Treat or Trick??)’。With my business on the peak shipping
season (wholesale clothing and accessories to Boutique store through out the
Country) and preparing opening my first boutique store; I only wished I had more
free time to show Ariel around。
Ariel is quite amazing to me with her independence; quickly she already got
familiar with public transportation from NY subway to state…to…state bus ride。
She is a great survivor on any new environ…ments thinking back when I first came
to the United States; I have to say she is stronger on adapting the system than
me。 During the weeks staying with us; I also have better knowing on Ariel of her
continuing educating herself; better herself on acting career that she is not
only just a beautiful movie star but also a very intelligent; knowledgeable
  P7
artiest。 I wish her very best luck on anything and everything she tries in her
career。 I believe her attitude will bring her an even higher…levelsuccess in the
near future。

I knew from the moment Ariel walked into our apartment in Times Square; New
York City; that we would have a great time。 She had that fabulous glow & sparkle
of a first time visitor to Manhattan the first thing we did was go have
Indian food for lunch! I looked for…ward each day seeing what stylish; hip new
NY clothes Ariel would wear to film school; and every day she would bring home
bottles of fresh chocolate milk from the farmer market downtown。 Ariel’s mother
phoned most mornings from Taiwan and I loved hearing their laughter &
conversation in Taiwanese。 For Ariel’s birthday; I boughther a ticket to the
Broadway musical WICKED …〃WOW!!!〃 was herastonished reaction; a word I heard a
lot as she explored New York many outrageous wonders。
Ariel worked very hard on her scene work for class and worked lateon her
studies in our living room overlooking Manhattan skyline。 I〃ll never forget
taking her boxes of clothes & gifts to the post office to ship home。 We were
like 2 girls in a edy; trying to maneuver through the busy streets and not
drop everything。 (which we did!)Saying goodbye at the bus station I knew we will
stay in touch and I am delighted to share these magical memories of my
wonderfulfriend。 It was pretty cool having a movie star as a roommate for
amonth。 e back to New York City soon; Ariel!

Camouflaged in the fort of an energetic Acting for Film class;Ariel fit
right in just like anyone else。 Never did she draw any un…wanted attention;
despite the fact that she was already a star in Asia。Ariel was one of the New
York Film Academy〃s hardest working and unassuming student。 We had no doubt she
was determined to learn and work hard from day one。 Despite her struggle with
the English language; it did not hinder her progression day to day。 She even
wentas far as to stayed longer for extra classes from her instructors and even
volunteered to act in student〃s films。 Humble and smart; Abelwas definitely one
of New York Film Academy〃s prized alumni; she would always be remembered and a
shining star in our heart。
(New
York Film

buy……
