The¡¡Lithuanian¡¡nobles¡¡were¡¡already¡¡favourable¡¡to¡¡the¡¡idea£»¡¡and
were¡¡easily¡¡induced¡¡by¡¡the¡¡Governor¡¡General¡¡Nasimov¡¡to¡¡present¡¡to
the¡¡Czar¡¡an¡¡address¡¡asking¡¡for¡¡the¡¡abolition¡¡of¡¡bondage£»¡¡but¡¡at
