Now　therefore　so　shalt　thou　say　unto　my　servant　David；　Thus　saith　the　LORD　of　hosts；　I　took　thee　from　the　sheepcote；　from　following　the　sheep；　to　be　ruler　over　my　people；　over　Israel：
7：9你无论往哪里去，我常与你同在，剪除你的一切仇敌。我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一样。
And　I　was　with　thee　whithersoever　thou　wentest；　and　have　cut　off　all　thine　enemies　out　of　thy　sight；　and　have　made　thee　a　great　name；　like　unto　the　name　of　the　great　men　that　are　in　the　earth。
7：10我必为我民以色列选定一个地方，栽培他们，使他们住自己的地方，不再迁移。凶恶之子也不像从前扰害他们，
Moreover　I　will　appoint　a　place　for　my　people　Israel；　and　will　plant　them；　that　they　may　dwell　in　a　place　of　their　own；　and　move　no　more；　neither　shall　the　children　of　wickedness　afflict　them　any　more；　as　beforetime；
7：11并不像我命士师治理我民以色列的时候一样。我必使你安靖，不被一切仇敌扰乱，并且我耶和华应许你，必为你建立家室。
And　as　since　the　time　that　I　manded　judges　to　be　over　my　people　Israel；　and　have　caused　thee　to　rest　from　all　thine　enemies。　Also　the　LORD　telleth　thee　that　he　will　make　thee　an　house。
7：12你寿数满足，与你列祖同睡的时候，我必使你的后裔接续你的位。我也必坚定他的国。
And　when　thy　days　be　fulfilled；　and　thou　shalt　sleep　with　thy　fathers；　I　will　set　up　thy　seed　after　thee；　which　shall　proceed　out　of　thy　bowels；　and　I　will　establish　his　kingdom。
7：13他必为我的名建造殿宇。我必坚定他的国位，直到永远。
He　shall　build　an　house　for　my　name；　and　I　will　stablish　the　throne　of　his　kingdom　for　ever。
7：14我要作他的父，他要作我的子。他若犯了罪，我必用人的杖责打他，用人的鞭责罚他。
I　will　be　his　father；　and　he　shall　be　my　son。　If　he　mit　iniquity；　I　will　chasten　him　with　the　rod　of　men；　and　with　the　stripes　of　the　children　of　men：
7：15但我的慈爱仍不离开他，像离开在你面前所废弃的扫罗一样。
But　my　mercy　shall　not　depart　away　from　him；　as　I　took　it　from　Saul；　whom　I　put　away　before　thee。
7：16你的家和你的国必在我（原文作你）面前永远坚立。你的国位也必坚定，直到永远。
And　thine　house　and　thy　kingdom　shall　be　established　for　ever　before　thee：　thy　throne　shall　be　established　for　ever。
7：17拿单就按这一切话，照这默示，告诉大卫。
According　to　all　these　words；　and　according　to　all　this　vision；　so　did　Nathan　speak　unto　David。
7：18于是大卫王进去，坐在耶和华面前，说，主耶和华阿，我是谁。我的家算什么。你竟使我到这地步呢。
Then　went　king　David　in；　and　sat　before　the　LORD；　and　he　said；　Who　am　I；　O　Lord　GOD？　and　what　is　my　house；　that　thou　hast　brought　me　hitherto？
7：19主耶和华阿，这在你眼中还看为小，又应许你仆人的家至于久远。主耶和华阿，这岂是人所常遇的事吗。
And　this　was　yet　a　small　thing　in　thy　sight；　O　Lord　GOD；　but　thou　hast　spoken　also　of　thy　servant's　house　for　a　great　while　to　e。　And　is　this　the　manner　of　man；　O　Lord　GOD？
7：20主耶和华阿，我还有何言可以对你说呢。因为你知道你的仆人。
And　what　can　David　say　more　unto　thee？　for　thou；　Lord　GOD；　knowest　thy　servant。
7：21你行这大事使仆人知道，是因你所应许的话，也是照你的心意。
For　thy　word's　sake；　and　according　to　thine　own　heart；　hast　thou　done　all　these　great　things；　to　make　thy　servant　know　them。
7：22主耶和华阿，你本为大，照我们耳中听见，没有可比你的。除你以外再无神。
Wherefore　thou　art　great；　O　LORD　God：　for　there　is　none　like　thee；　neither　is　there　any　God　beside　thee；　according　to　all　that　we　have　heard　with　our　ears。
7：23世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢。你从埃及救赎他们作自己的子民，又在你赎出来的民面前行大而可畏的事，驱逐列邦人和他们的神，显出你的大名。
And　what　one　nation　in　the　earth　is　like　thy　people；　even　like　Israel；　whom　God　went　to　redeem　for　a　people　to　himself；　and　to　make　him　a　name；　and　to　do　for　you　great　things　and　terrible；　for　thy　land；　before　thy　people；　which　thou　redeemedst　to　thee　from　Egypt；　from　the　nations　and　their　gods？
7：24你曾坚立你的民以色列作你的子民，直到永远。你耶和华也作了他们的神。
For　thou　hast　confirmed　to　thyself　thy　people　Israel　to　be　a　people　unto　thee　for　ever：　and　thou；　LORD；　art　bee　their　God。
7：25耶和华神阿，你所应许仆人和仆人家的话，求你坚定，直到永远。照你所说的而行。
And　now；　O　LORD　God；　the　word　that　thou　hast　spoken　concerning　thy　servant；　and　concerning　his　house；　establish　it　for　ever；　and　do　as　thou　hast　said。
7：26愿人永远尊你的名为大，说，万军之耶和华是治理以色列的神。这样，你仆人大卫的家必在你面前坚立。
And　let　thy　name　be　magnified　for　ever；　saying；　The　LORD　of　hosts　is　the　God　over　Israel：　and　let　the　house　of　thy　servant　David　be　established　before　thee。
7：27万军之耶和华以色列的神阿，因你启示你的仆人说，我必为你建立家室，所以仆人大胆向你如此祈祷。
For　thou；　O　LORD　of　hosts；　God　of　Israel；　hast　revealed　to　thy　servant；　saying；　I　will　build　thee　an　house：　therefore　hath　thy　servant　found　in　his　heart　to　pray　this　prayer　unto　thee。
7：28主耶和华阿，惟有你是神。你的话是真实的。你也应许将这福气赐给仆人。
And　now；　O　Lord　GOD；　thou　art　that　God；　and　thy　words　be　true；　and　thou　hast　promised　this　goodness　unto　thy　servant：
7：29现在求你赐福与仆人的家，可以永存在你面前。主耶和华阿，这是你所应许的。愿你永远赐福与仆人的家。
Therefore　now　let　it　please　thee　to　bless　the　house　of　thy　servant；　that　it　may　continue　for　ever　before　thee：　for　thou；　O　Lord　GOD；　hast　spoken　it：　and　with　thy　blessing　let　the　house　of　thy　servant　be　blessed　for　ever。

8：1此后，大卫攻打非利士人，把他们治服，从他们手下夺取了京城的权柄（原文作母城的嚼环）。
And　after　this　it　came　to　pass　that　David　smote　the　Philistines；　and　subdued　them：　and　David　took　Methegammah　out　of　the　hand　of　the　Philistines。
8：2又攻打摩押人，使他们躺卧在地上，用绳量一量，量二绳的杀了，量一绳的存留。摩押人就归服大卫，给他进贡。
And　he　smote　Moab；　and　measured　them　with　a　line；　casting　them　down　to　the　ground；　even　with　two　lines　measured　he　to　put　to　death；　and　with　one　full　line　to　keep　alive。　And　so　the　Moabites　became　David's　servants；　and　brought　gifts。
8：3琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢往大河去，要夺回他的国权。大卫就攻打他，
David　smote　also　Hadadezer；　the　son　of　Rehob；　king　of　Zobah；　as　he　went　to　recover　his　border　at　the　river　Euphrates。
8：4擒拿了他的马兵一千七百，步兵二万，将拉战车的马砍断蹄筋，但留下一百辆车的马。
And　David　took　from　him　a　thousand　chariots；　and　seven　hundred　horsemen；　and　twenty　thousand　footmen：　and　David　houghed　all　the　chariot　horses；　but　reserved　of　them　for　an　hundred　chariots。
8：5大马士革的亚兰人来帮助琐巴王哈大底谢，大卫就杀了亚兰人二万二千。
And　when　the　Syrians　of　Damascus　came　to　succour　Hadadezer　king　of　Zobah；　David　slew　of　the　Syrians　two　and　twenty　thousand　men。
8：6于是大卫在大马士革的亚兰地设立防营，亚兰人就归服他，给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。
Then　David　put　garrisons　in　Syria　of　Damascus：　and　the　Syrians　became　servants　to　David；　and　brought　gifts。　And　the　LORD　preserved　David　whithersoever　he　went。
8：7他夺了哈大底谢臣仆所拿的金盾牌，带到耶路撒冷。
And　David　took　the　shields　of　gold　that　were　on　the　servants　of　Hadadezer；　and　brought　them　to　Jerusalem。
8：8大卫王又从属哈大底谢的比他和比罗他城中夺取了许多的铜。
And　from　Betah；　and　from　Berothai；　cities　of　Hadadezer；　king　David　took　exceeding　much　brass。
8：9哈马王陀以听见大卫杀败哈大底谢的全军，
When　Toi　king　of　Hamath　heard　that　David　had　smitten　all　the　host　of　Hadadezer；
8：10就打发他儿子约兰去见大卫王，问他的安，为他祝福，因为他杀败了哈大底谢，原来陀以与哈大底谢常常争战。约兰带了金银铜的器皿来，
Then　Toi　sent　Joram　his　son　unto　king　David；　to　salute　him；　and　to　bless　him；　because　he　had　fought　against　Hadadezer；　and　smitten　him：　for　Hadadezer　had　wars　with　Toi。　And　Joram　brought　with　him　vessels　of　silver；　and　vessels　of　gold；　and　vessels　of　brass：
8：11大卫王将这些器皿和他治服各国所得来的金银都分别为圣，献给耶和华，
Which　also　king　David　did　dedicate　unto　the　LORD；　with　the　silver　and　gold　that　he　had　dedicated　of　all　nations　which　he　subdued；
8：12就是从亚兰，摩押，亚扪，非利士，亚玛力人所得来的，以及从琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢所掠之物。
Of　Syria；　and　of　Moab；　and　of　the　children　of　Ammon；　and　of　the　Philistines；　and　of　Amalek；　and　of　the　spoil　of　Hadadezer；　son　of　Rehob；　king　of　Zobah。
8：13大卫在盐谷击杀了亚兰（或作以东，见诗篇六十篇诗题）一万八千人回来，就得了大名。
And　David　gat　him　a　name　when　he　returned　from　smiting　of　the　Syrians　in　the　valley　of　salt；　being　eighteen　thousand　men。
8：14又在以东全地设立防营，以东人就都归服大卫。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。
And　he　put　garrisons　in　Edom；　throughout　all　Edom　put　he　garrisons；　and　all　they　of　Edom　became　David's　servants。　And　the　LORD　preserved　David　whithersoever　he　went。
8：15大卫作以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。
And　David　reigned　over　all　Israel；　and　David　executed　judgment　and　justice　unto　all　his　people。
8：16洗鲁雅的儿子约押作元帅。亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官。
And　Joab　the　son　of　Zeruiah　was　over　the　host；　and　Jehoshaphat　the　son　of　Ahilud　was　recorder；
8：17亚希突的儿子撒督和亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒作祭司长。西莱雅作书记。
And　Zadok　the　son　of　Ahitub；　and　Ahimelech　the　son　of　Abiathar；　were　the　priests；　and　Seraiah　was　the　scribe；
8：18耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅统辖基利提人和比利提人。大卫的众子都作领袖。
And　Benaiah　the　son　of　Jehoiada　was　over　both　the　Cherethites　and　the　Pelethites；　and　David's　sons　were　chief　rulers。

9：1大卫问说，扫罗家还有剩下的人没有。我要因约拿单的缘故向他施恩。
And　David　said；　Is　there　yet　any　that　is　left　of　the　house　of　Saul；　that　I　may　shew　him　kindness　for　Jonathan's　sake？
9：2扫罗家有一个仆人，名叫洗巴，有人叫他来见大卫，王问他说，你是洗巴吗。回答说，仆人是。
And　there　was　of　the　house　of　Saul　a　servant　whose　name　was　Ziba。　And　when　they　had　called　him　unto　David；　the　king　said　unto　him；　Art　thou　Ziba？　And　he　said；　Thy　servant　is　he。
9：3王说，扫罗家还有人没有。我要照神的慈爱恩待他。洗巴对王说，还有约拿单的一个儿子，是瘸腿的。
And　the　king　said；　Is　there　not　yet　any　of　the　house　of　Saul；　that　I　may　shew　the　kindness　of　God　unto　him？　And　Ziba　said　unto　the　king；　Jonathan　hath　yet　a　son；　which　is　lame　on　his　feet。
9：4王说，他在哪里。洗巴对王说，他在罗底巴，亚米利的儿子玛吉家里。
And　the　king　said　unto　him；　Where　is　he？　And　Ziba　said　unto　the　king；　Behold；　he　is　in　the　house　of　Machir；　the　son　of　Ammiel；　in　Lodebar。
9：5于是大卫王打发人去，从罗底巴亚米利的儿子玛吉家里召了他来。
Then　king　David　sent；　and　fetched　him　out　of　the　house　of　Machir；　the　son　of　Ammiel；　from　Lodebar。
9：6扫罗的孙子，约拿单的儿子米非波设来见大卫，伏地叩拜。大卫说，米非波设。米非波设说，仆人在此。
Now　when　Mephibosheth；　the　son　of　Jonathan；　the　son　of　Saul；　was　e　unto　David；　he　fell　on　his　face；　and　did　reverence。　And　David　said；　Mephibosheth。　And　he　answered；　Behold　thy　servant！
9：7大卫说，你不要惧怕，我必因你父亲约拿单的缘故施恩与你，将你祖父扫罗的一切田地都归还你。你也可以常与我同席吃饭。
And　David　said　unto　him；　Fear　not：　for　I　will　surely　shew　thee　kindness　for　Jonathan　thy　father's　sake；　and　will　restore　thee　all　the　land　of　Saul　thy　father；　and　thou　shalt　eat　bread　at　my　table　continually。
9：8米非波设又叩拜，说，仆人算什么，不过如死狗一般，竟蒙王这样眷顾。
And　he　bowed　himself；　and　said；　What　is　thy　servant；　that　thou　shouldest　look　upon　such　a　dead　dog　as　I　am？
9：9王召了扫罗的仆人洗巴来，对他说，我已将属扫罗和他的一切家产都赐给你主人的儿子了。
Then　the　king　called　to　Ziba；　Saul's　servant；　and　said　unto　him；　I　have　given　unto　thy　mast
