9：9王召了扫罗的仆人洗巴来，对他说，我已将属扫罗和他的一切家产都赐给你主人的儿子了。
Then　the　king　called　to　Ziba；　Saul's　servant；　and　said　unto　him；　I　have　given　unto　thy　master's　son　all　that　pertained　to　Saul　and　to　all　his　house。
9：10你和你的众子，仆人要为你主人的儿子米非波设耕种田地，把所产的拿来供他食用。他却要常与我同席吃饭。洗巴有十五个儿子，二十个仆人。
Thou　therefore；　and　thy　sons；　and　thy　servants；　shall　till　the　land　for　him；　and　thou　shalt　bring　in　the　fruits；　that　thy　master's　son　may　have　food　to　eat：　but　Mephibosheth　thy　master's　son　shall　eat　bread　alway　at　my　table。　Now　Ziba　had　fifteen　sons　and　twenty　servants。
9：11洗巴对王说，凡我主我王吩咐仆人的，仆人都必遵行。王又说，米非波设必与我同席吃饭，如王的儿子一样。
Then　said　Ziba　unto　the　king；　According　to　all　that　my　lord　the　king　hath　manded　his　servant；　so　shall　thy　servant　do。　As　for　Mephibosheth；　said　the　king；　he　shall　eat　at　my　table；　as　one　of　the　king's　sons。
9：12米非波设有一个小儿子，名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家里的人都作了米非波设的仆人。
And　Mephibosheth　had　a　young　son；　whose　name　was　Micha。　And　all　that　dwelt　in　the　house　of　Ziba　were　servants　unto　Mephibosheth。
9：13于是米非波设住在耶路撒冷，常与王同席吃饭。他两腿都是瘸的。
So　Mephibosheth　dwelt　in　Jerusalem：　for　he　did　eat　continually　at　the　king's　table；　and　was　lame　on　both　his　feet。

10：1此后，亚扪人的王死了，他儿子哈嫩接续他作王。
And　it　came　to　pass　after　this；　that　the　king　of　the　children　of　Ammon　died；　and　Hanun　his　son　reigned　in　his　stead。
10：2大卫说，我要照哈嫩的父亲拿辖厚待我的恩典厚待哈嫩。于是大卫差遣臣仆，为他丧父安慰他。大卫的臣仆到了亚扪人的境内。
Then　said　David；　I　will　shew　kindness　unto　Hanun　the　son　of　Nahash；　as　his　father　shewed　kindness　unto　me。　And　David　sent　to　fort　him　by　the　hand　of　his　servants　for　his　father。　And　David's　servants　came　into　the　land　of　the　children　of　Ammon。
10：3但亚扪人的首领对他们的主哈嫩说，大卫差人来安慰你，你想他是尊敬你父亲吗。他差臣仆来不是详察窥探，要倾覆这城吗。
And　the　princes　of　the　children　of　Ammon　said　unto　Hanun　their　lord；　Thinkest　thou　that　David　doth　honour　thy　father；　that　he　hath　sent　forters　unto　thee？　hath　not　David　rather　sent　his　servants　unto　thee；　to　search　the　city；　and　to　spy　it　out；　and　to　overthrow　it？
10：4哈嫩便将大卫臣仆的胡须剃去一半，又割断他们下半截的衣服，使他们露出下体，打发他们回去。
Wherefore　Hanun　took　David's　servants；　and　shaved　off　the　one　half　of　their　beards；　and　cut　off　their　garments　in　the　middle；　even　to　their　buttocks；　and　sent　them　away。
10：5有人告诉大卫，他就差人去迎接他们，因为他们甚觉羞耻，告诉他们说，可以住在耶利哥，等到胡须长起再回来。
When　they　told　it　unto　David；　he　sent　to　meet　them；　because　the　men　were　greatly　ashamed：　and　the　king　said；　Tarry　at　Jericho　until　your　beards　be　grown；　and　then　return。
10：6亚扪人知道大卫憎恶他们，就打发人去，招募伯利合的亚兰人和琐巴的亚兰人，步兵二万，与玛迦王的人一千，陀伯人一万二千。
And　when　the　children　of　Ammon　saw　that　they　stank　before　David；　the　children　of　Ammon　sent　and　hired　the　Syrians　of　Bethrehob；　and　the　Syrians　of　Zoba；　twenty　thousand　footmen；　and　of　king　Maacah　a　thousand　men；　and　of　Ishtob　twelve　thousand　men。
10：7大卫听见了，就差派约押统带勇猛的全军出去。
And　when　David　heard　of　it；　he　sent　Joab；　and　all　the　host　of　the　mighty　men。
10：8亚扪人出来，在城门前摆阵。琐巴与利合的亚兰人，陀伯人，并玛迦人，另在郊野摆阵。
And　the　children　of　Ammon　came　out；　and　put　the　battle　in　array　at　the　entering　in　of　the　gate：　and　the　Syrians　of　Zoba；　and　of　Rehob；　and　Ishtob；　and　Maacah；　were　by　themselves　in　the　field。
10：9约押看见敌人在他前后摆阵，就从以色列军中挑选精兵，使他们对着亚兰人摆阵。
When　Joab　saw　that　the　front　of　the　battle　was　against　him　before　and　behind；　he　chose　of　all　the　choice　men　of　Israel；　and　put　them　in　array　against　the　Syrians：
10：10其馀的兵交与他兄弟亚比筛，对着亚扪人摆阵。
And　the　rest　of　the　people　he　delivered　into　the　hand　of　Abishai　his　brother；　that　he　might　put　them　in　array　against　the　children　of　Ammon。
10：11约押对亚比筛说，亚兰人若强过我，你就来帮助我。亚扪人若强过你，我就去帮助你。
And　he　said；　If　the　Syrians　be　too　strong　for　me；　then　thou　shalt　help　me：　but　if　the　children　of　Ammon　be　too　strong　for　thee；　then　I　will　e　and　help　thee。
10：12我们都当刚强，为本国的民和神的城邑作大丈夫。愿耶和华凭他的意旨而行。
Be　of　good　courage；　and　let　us　play　the　men　for　our　people；　and　for　the　cities　of　our　God：　and　the　LORD　do　that　which　seemeth　him　good。
10：13于是，约押和跟随他的人前进攻打亚兰人。亚兰人在约押面前逃跑。
And　Joab　drew　nigh；　and　the　people　that　were　with　him；　unto　the　battle　against　the　Syrians：　and　they　fled　before　him。
10：14亚扪人见亚兰人逃跑，他们也在亚比筛面前逃跑进城。约押就离开亚扪人那里，回耶路撒冷去了。
And　when　the　children　of　Ammon　saw　that　the　Syrians　were　fled；　then　fled　they　also　before　Abishai；　and　entered　into　the　city。　So　Joab　returned　from　the　children　of　Ammon；　and　came　to　Jerusalem。
10：15亚兰人见自己被以色列人打败，就又聚集。
And　when　the　Syrians　saw　that　they　were　smitten　before　Israel；　they　gathered　themselves　together。
10：16哈大底谢差遣人，将大河那边的亚兰人调来。他们到了希兰，哈大底谢的将军朔法率领他们。
And　Hadarezer　sent；　and　brought　out　the　Syrians　that　were　beyond　the　river：　and　they　came　to　Helam；　and　Shobach　the　captain　of　the　host　of　Hadarezer　went　before　them。
10：17有人告诉大卫，他就聚集以色列众人，过约旦河，来到希兰。亚兰人迎着大卫摆阵，与他打仗。
And　when　it　was　told　David；　he　gathered　all　Israel　together；　and　passed　over　Jordan；　and　came　to　Helam。　And　the　Syrians　set　themselves　in　array　against　David；　and　fought　with　him。
10：18亚兰人在以色列人面前逃跑。大卫杀了亚兰七百辆战车的人，四万马兵，又杀了亚兰的将军朔法。
And　the　Syrians　fled　before　Israel；　and　David　slew　the　men　of　seven　hundred　chariots　of　the　Syrians；　and　forty　thousand　horsemen；　and　smote　Shobach　the　captain　of　their　host；　who　died　there。
10：19属哈大底谢的诸王见自己被以色列人打败，就与以色列人和好，归服他们。于是亚兰人不敢再帮助亚扪人了。
And　when　all　the　kings　that　were　servants　to　Hadarezer　saw　that　they　were　smitten　before　Israel；　they　made　peace　with　Israel；　and　served　them。　So　the　Syrians　feared　to　help　the　children　of　Ammon　any　more。

11：1过了一年，到列王出战的时候，大卫又差派约押，率领臣仆和以色列众人出战。他们就打败亚扪人，围攻拉巴。大卫仍住在耶路撒冷。
And　it　came　to　pass；　after　the　year　was　expired；　at　the　time　when　kings　go　forth　to　battle；　that　David　sent　Joab；　and　his　servants　with　him；　and　all　Israel；　and　they　destroyed　the　children　of　Ammon；　and　besieged　Rabbah。　But　David　tarried　still　at　Jerusalem。
11：2一日，太阳平西，大卫从床上起来，在王宫的平顶上游行，看见一个妇人沭浴，容貌甚美，
And　it　came　to　pass　in　an　eveningtide；　that　David　arose　from　off　his　bed；　and　walked　upon　the　roof　of　the　king's　house：　and　from　the　roof　he　saw　a　woman　washing　herself；　and　the　woman　was　very　beautiful　to　look　upon。
11：3大卫就差人打听那妇人是谁。有人说，她是以连的女儿，赫人乌利亚的妻拔示巴。
And　David　sent　and　enquired　after　the　woman。　And　one　said；　Is　not　this　Bathsheba；　the　daughter　of　Eliam；　the　wife　of　Uriah　the　Hittite？
11：4大卫差人去，将妇人接来。那时她的月经才得洁净。她来了，大卫与她同房，她就回家去了。
And　David　sent　messengers；　and　took　her；　and　she　came　in　unto　him；　and　he　lay　with　her；　for　she　was　purified　from　her　uncleanness：　and　she　returned　unto　her　house。
11：5于是她怀了孕，打发人去告诉大卫说，我怀了孕。
And　the　woman　conceived；　and　sent　and　told　David；　and　said；　I　am　with　child。
11：6大卫差人到约押那里，说，你打发赫人乌利亚到我这里来。约押就打发乌利亚去见大卫。
And　David　sent　to　Joab；　saying；　Send　me　Uriah　the　Hittite。　And　Joab　sent　Uriah　to　David。
11：7乌利亚来了，大卫问约押好，也问兵好，又问争战的事怎样。
And　when　Uriah　was　e　unto　him；　David　demanded　of　him　how　Joab　did；　and　how　the　people　did；　and　how　the　war　prospered。
11：8大卫对乌利亚说，你回家去，洗洗脚吧。乌利亚出了王宫，随后王送他一分食物。
And　David　said　to　Uriah；　Go　down　to　thy　house；　and　wash　thy　feet。　And　Uriah　departed　out　of　the　king's　house；　and　there　followed　him　a　mess　of　meat　from　the　king。
11：9乌利亚却和他主人的仆人一同睡在宫门外，没有回家去。
But　Uriah　slept　at　the　door　of　the　king's　house　with　all　the　servants　of　his　lord；　and　went　not　down　to　his　house。
11：10有人告诉大卫说，乌利亚没有回家去。大卫就问乌利亚说，你从远路上来，为什么不回家去呢。
And　when　they　had　told　David；　saying；　Uriah　went　not　down　unto　his　house；　David　said　unto　Uriah；　Camest　thou　not　from　thy　journey？　why　then　didst　thou　not　go　down　unto　thine　house？
11：11乌利亚对大卫说，约柜和以色列与犹大兵都住在棚里，我主约押和我主（或作王）的仆人都在田野安营，我岂可回家吃喝，与妻子同寝呢。我敢在王面前起誓（原文作我指着王和王的性命起誓）。
And　Uriah　said　unto　David；　The　ark；　and　Israel；　and　Judah；　abide　in　tents；　and　my　lord　Joab；　and　the　servants　of　my　lord；　are　encamped　in　the　open　fields；　shall　I　then　go　into　mine　house；　to　eat　and　to　drink；　and　to　lie　with　my　wife？　as　thou　livest；　and　as　thy　soul　liveth；　I　will　not　do　this　thing。
11：12大卫吩咐乌利亚说，你今日仍住在这里，明日我打发你去。于是乌利亚那日和次日住在耶路撒冷。
And　David　said　to　Uriah；　Tarry　here　to　day　also；　and　to　morrow　I　will　let　thee　depart。　So　Uriah　abode　in　Jerusalem　that　day；　and　the　morrow。
11：13大卫召了乌利亚来，叫他在自己面前吃喝，使他喝醉。到了晚上，乌利亚出去与他主的仆人一同住宿，还没有回到家里去。
And　when　David　had　called　him；　he　did　eat　and　drink　before　him；　and　he　made　him　drunk：　and　at　even　he　went　out　to　lie　on　his　bed　with　the　servants　of　his　lord；　but　went　not　down　to　his　house。
11：14次日早晨，大卫写信与约押，交乌利亚随手带去。
And　it　came　to　pass　in　the　morning；　that　David　wrote　a　letter　to　Joab；　and　sent　it　by　the　hand　of　Uriah。
11：15信内写着说，要派乌利亚前进，到阵势极险之处，你们便退后，使他被杀。
And　he　wrote　in　the　letter；　saying；　Set　ye　Uriah　in　the　forefront　of　the　hottest　battle；　and　retire　ye　from　him；　that　he　may　be　smitten；　and　die。
11：16约押围城的时候，知道敌人那里有勇士，便将乌利亚派在那里。
And　it　came　to　pass；　when　Joab　observed　the　city；　that　he　assigned　Uriah　unto　a　place　where　he　knew　that　valiant　men　were。
11：17城里的人出来和约押打仗。大卫的仆人中有几个被杀的，赫人乌利亚也死了。
And　the　men　of　the　city　went　out；　and　fought　with　Joab：　and　there　fell　some　of　the　people　of　the　servants　of　David；　and　Uriah　the　Hittite　died　also。
11：18于是，约押差人去将争战的一切事告诉大卫，
Then　Joab　sent　and　told　David　all　the　things　concerning　the　war；
11：19又嘱咐使者说，你把争战的一切事对王说完了，
And　charged　the　messenger；　saying；　When　thou　hast　made　an　end　of　telling　the　matters　of　the　war　unto　the　king；
11：20王若发怒，问你说，你们打仗为什么挨近城墙呢。岂不知敌人必从城上射箭吗。
And　if　so　be　that　the　king's　wrath　arise；　and　he　say　unto　thee；　Wherefore　approached　ye　so　nigh　unto　the　city　when　ye　did　fight？　knew　ye　not　that　they　would　shoot　from　the　wall？
11：21从前打死耶路比设（就是耶路巴力，见士师记九章一节）儿子亚比米勒的是谁呢。岂不是一个妇人从城上抛下一块上磨石来，打在他身上，他就死在提备斯吗。你们为什么挨近城墙呢？你就说，王的仆人，赫人乌利亚也死了。
Who　smote　Abimelech　the　son　of　Jerubbesheth？　did　not　a　woman　cast　a　piece　of　a　millstone　upon　him　from　the　wall；　that　he　died　in
