2：23锡安的民哪，你们要快乐，为耶和华你们的神欢喜。因他赐给你们合宜的秋雨，为你们降下甘霖，就是秋雨，春雨，和先前一样。
Be glad then； ye children of Zion； and rejoice in the LORD your God： for he hath given you the former rain moderately； and he will cause to e down for you the rain； the former rain； and the latter rain in the first month。
2：24禾场必满了麦子，酒榨与油榨必有新酒和油盈溢。
And the floors shall be full of wheat； and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil。
2：25我打发到你们中间的大军队，就是蝗虫，蝻子，蚂蚱，剪虫，那些年所吃的，我要补还你们。
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten； the cankerworm； and the caterpiller； and the palmerworm； my great army which I sent among you。
2：26你们必多吃，而得饱足，就赞美为你们行奇妙事之耶和华你们神的名。我的百姓，必永远不至羞愧。
And ye shall eat in plenty； and be satisfied； and praise the name of the LORD your God； that hath dealt wondrously with you： and my people shall never be ashamed。
2：27你们必知道我是在以色列中间，又知道我是耶和华你们的神，在我以外并无别神。我的百姓必永远不至羞愧。
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel； and that I am the LORD your God； and none else： and my people shall never be ashamed。
2：28以后，我要将我的灵浇灌凡有血气的。你们的儿女要说预言。你们的老年人要作异梦。少年人要见异象。
And it shall e to pass afterward； that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh； and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy； your old men shall dream dreams； your young men shall see visions：
2：29在那些日子，我要将我的灵浇灌我的仆人和使女。
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit。
2：30在天上地下，我要显出奇事，有血有火，有烟柱。
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth； blood； and fire； and pillars of smoke。
2：31日头要变为黑暗，月亮要变为血，这都是耶和华大而可畏的日子未到以前。
The sun shall be turned into darkness； and the moon into blood； before the great and the terrible day of the LORD e。
2：32那时候，凡求告耶和华名的就必得救。因为照耶和华所说的，在锡安山耶路撒冷必有逃脱的人，在剩下的人中必有耶和华所召的。
And it shall e to pass； that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered： for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance； as the LORD hath said； and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call。

3：1到那日，我使犹大和耶路撒冷被掳之人归回的时候，
For； behold； in those days； and in that time； when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem；
3：2我要聚集万民，带他们下到约沙法谷。在那里施行审判，因为他们将我的百姓，就是我的产业以色列，分散在列国中，又分取我的地土，
I will also gather all nations； and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat； and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel； whom they have scattered among the nations； and parted my land。
3：3且为我的百姓拈阄，将童子换妓女，卖童女买酒喝。
And they have cast lots for my people； and have given a boy for an harlot； and sold a girl for wine； that they might drink。
3：4推罗，西顿，和非利士四境的人哪，你们与我何干。你们要报复我吗。若报复我，我必使报应速速归到你们的头上。
Yea； and what have ye to do with me； O Tyre； and Zidon； and all the coasts of Palestine？ will ye render me a repence？ and if ye repense me； swiftly and speedily will I return your repence upon your own head；
3：5你们既然夺取我的金银，又将我可爱的宝物带入你们宫殿，（或作庙中），
Because ye have taken my silver and my gold； and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things：
3：6并将犹大人，和耶路撒冷人，卖给希腊人（原文是雅完人），使他们远离自己的境界。
The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians； that ye might remove them far from their border。
3：7我必激动他们离开你们所卖到之地，又必使报应归到你们的头上。
Behold； I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them； and will return your repence upon your own head：
3：8我必将你们的儿女卖在犹大人的手中，他们必卖给远方示巴国的人。这是耶和华说的。
And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah； and they shall sell them to the Sabeans； to a people far off： for the LORD hath spoken it。
3：9当在万民中宣告说，要预备打仗。激动勇士。使一切战士上前来。
Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles； Prepare war； wake up the mighty men； let all the men of war draw near； let them e up：
3：10要将犁头打成刀剑，将镰刀打成戈矛。软弱的要说，我有勇力。
Beat your plowshares into swords； and your pruninghooks into spears： let the weak say； I am strong。
3：11四围的列国阿，你们要速速地来，一同聚集。耶和华阿，求你使你的大能者降临。
Assemble yourselves； and e； all ye heathen； and gather yourselves together round about： thither cause thy mighty ones to e down； O LORD。
3：12万民都当兴起，上到约沙法谷。因为我必坐在那里，审判四围的列国。
Let the heathen be wakened； and e up to the valley of Jehoshaphat： for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about。
3：13开镰吧。因为庄稼熟了。践踏吧。因为酒榨满了，酒池盈溢。他们的罪恶甚大。
Put ye in the sickle； for the harvest is ripe： e； get you down； for the press is full； the fats overflow； for their wickedness is great。
3：14许多许多的人在断定谷。因为耶和华的日子临近断定谷。
Multitudes； multitudes in the valley of decision： for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision。
3：15日月昏暗，星宿无光。
The sun and the moon shall be darkened； and the stars shall withdraw their shining。
3：16耶和华必从锡安吼叫，从耶路撒冷发声。天地就震动。耶和华却要作他百姓的避难所，作以色列人的保障。
The LORD also shall roar out of Zion； and utter his voice from Jerusalem； and the heavens and the earth shall shake： but the LORD will be the hope of his people； and the strength of the children of Israel。
3：17你们就知道我是耶和华你们的神，且又住在锡安我的圣山。那时，耶路撒冷必成为圣，外邦人不再从其中经过。
So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion； my holy mountain： then shall Jerusalem be holy； and there shall no strangers pass through her any more。
3：18到那日，大山要滴甜酒。小山要流奶子，犹大溪河都有水流。必有泉源从耶和华的殿中流出来，滋润什亭谷。
And it shall e to pass in that day； that the mountains shall drop down new wine； and the hills shall flow with milk； and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters； and a fountain shall e forth of the house of the LORD； and shall water the valley of Shittim。
3：19埃及必然荒凉，以东变为凄凉的旷野，都因向犹大人所行的强暴，又因在本地流无辜人的血。
Egypt shall be a desolation； and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness； for the violence against the children of Judah； because they have shed innocent blood in their land。
3：20但犹大必存到永远，耶路撒冷必存到万代。
But Judah shall dwell for ever； and Jerusalem from generation to generation。
3：21我未曾报复（或作洗除下同）流血的罪，现在我要报复。因为耶和华住在锡安。
For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed： for the LORD dwelleth in Zion。
旧约 阿摩司书（Amos） 第 1 章 （ 本篇共有 9 章 ） 下一章8 目录
1：1当犹大王乌西雅，以色列王约阿施的儿子，耶罗波安在位的时候，大地震前二年，提哥亚牧人中的阿摩司得默示论以色列。
The words of Amos； who was among the herdmen of Tekoa； which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah； and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel； two years before the earthquake。
1：2他说，耶和华必从锡安吼叫，从耶路撒冷发声。牧人的草场要悲哀，迦密的山顶要枯乾。
And he said； The LORD will roar from Zion； and utter his voice from Jerusalem； and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn； and the top of Carmel shall wither。
1：3耶和华如此说，大马士革三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚。因为她以傣粮食的铁器打过基列。
Thus saith the LORD； For three transgressions of Damascus； and for four； I will not turn away the punishment thereof； because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron：
1：4我却要降火在哈薛的家中，烧灭便哈达的宫殿。
But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael； which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad。
1：5我必折断大马士革的门闩，剪除亚文平原的居民，和伯伊甸掌权的。亚兰人必被掳到吉珥。这是耶和华说的。
I will break also the bar of Damascus； and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven； and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden： and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir； saith the LORD。
1：6耶和华如此说，迦萨三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚。因为她掳掠众民交给以东。
Thus saith the LORD； For three transgressions of Gaza； and for four； I will not turn away the punishment thereof； because they carried away captive the whole captivity； to deliver them up to Edom：
1：7我却要降火在迦萨的城内，烧灭其中的宫殿。
But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza； which shall devour the palaces thereof：
1：8我必剪除亚实突的居民，和亚实基伦掌权的。也必反手攻击以革伦。非利士人所馀剩的必都灭亡。这是主耶和华说的。
And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod； and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon； and I will turn mine hand against Ekron： and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish； saith the Lord GOD。
1：9耶和华如此说，推罗三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚。因为她将众民交给以东，并不记念弟兄的盟约。
Thus saith the LORD； For three transgressions of Tyrus； and for four； I will not turn away the punishment thereof； because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom； and remembered not the brotherly covenant：
1：10我却要降火在推罗的城内，烧灭其中的宫殿。
But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus； which shall devour the palaces thereof。
1：11耶和华如此说，以东三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚。因为她拿刀追赶兄弟，毫无怜悯，发怒撕裂，永怀忿怒。
Thus saith the LORD； For three transgressions of Edom； and for four； I will not turn away the punishment thereof； because he did pursue his brother with the sword； and did cast off all pity； and his anger did tear perpetually； and he kept his wrath for ever：
1：12我却要降火在毯螅，烧灭波斯拉的宫殿。
But I will send a fire upon Teman； which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah。
1：13耶和华如此说，亚扪人三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去他们的刑罚。因为他们剖开基列的孕妇，扩张自己的境界。
Thus saith the LORD； For three transgressions of the children of Ammon； and for four； I will not turn away the punishment thereof； because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead； that they might enlarge their border：
1：14我却要在争战呐喊的日子，旋风狂暴的时候，点火在拉巴的城内，烧灭其中的宫殿。
But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah； and it shall devour the palaces thereof； with shouting in the day of battle； with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind：
1：15他们的王和首领，必一同被掳去。这是耶和华说的。
And their king shall go into captivity； he and his princes together； saith the LORD。

2：1耶和华如此说，摩押三番四次的犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罚。因为她将以东王的骸骨焚烧成灰。
Thus saith the LORD； For three transgressions of Moab； and for four； I will not turn away the punishment thereof； because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime：
2：2我却要降火在摩押，烧灭加略的宫殿。摩押必在哄囔呐喊吹角之中死亡。
But I will send a fire upon Moab； and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth： and Moab shall die with tumult； with shouting； and with the sound of the trumpet：
2：3我必剪除摩�
