　　我父啊，倘若可行，求你叫这杯离开我；然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思（太26：39）。　　　我现在心里忧愁，我说什么才好呢？父啊，救我脱离这时候，但我原是为这时候来的（约12：27）。我从天上降下来，不是要按自己的意思行，乃是要按那差我来者的意思行（约6：38）。存心顺服，以至于死，且死在十字架上（腓2：8）。基督在肉体的时候既大声哀哭，流泪祷告，恳求那能救他免死的主，就因他的虔诚蒙了应允。他虽然为儿子，还是因所受的苦难学了顺从（来5：7，8）。　　　你想我不能求我父现在为我差遣十二营多天使来吗（太26：53）？　　照经上所写的，基督必受害，第三日从死里复活，并且人要奉他的名传悔改、赦罪的道，从耶路撒冷起直传到万邦（路24：46，47）。

　　我亲近　神是与我有益（诗73：28）。　
耶和华啊，我喜爱你所住的殿和你显荣耀的居所（诗26：8）。在你的院宇住一日，胜似在别处住千日。宁可在我　神殿中看门，不愿住在恶人的帐棚里（诗84：10）。你所拣选、使他亲近你，住在你院中的，这人便为有福。我们必因你居所、你圣殿的美福知足了（诗65：4）。凡等候耶和华、心里寻求他的，耶和华必施恩给他

　　忍耐也当成功，使你们成全完备，毫无缺欠（雅1：4）。　　　如今在百般的试炼中暂时忧愁，叫你们的信心既被试验，就比那被火试验仍然能坏的金子更显宝贵，可以在耶稣基督显现的时候，得着称赞、荣耀、尊贵（彼前1：6，7）。就是在患难中也是欢欢喜喜的。因为知道患难生忍耐，忍耐生老练，老练生盼望（罗5：3，4）。　人仰望耶和华，静默等候他的救恩，这原是好的（耶哀3：26）。自己有更美、长存的家业。所以，你们不可丢弃勇敢的心，存这样的心必得大赏赐。你们必须忍耐，使你们行完了　神的旨意，就可以得着所应许的（来10：34…36）。但愿我们主耶稣基督和那爱我们、开恩将永远的安慰并美好的盼望赐给我们的父神，安慰你们的心（帖后2：16，17）。　Let　patience　have　her　perfect　work；　that　ye　may　be　perfect　and　entire；　wanting　nothing。　　　　　　　　　　Now　for　a　season；　if　need　be；　ye　are　in　heaviness　through　manifold　temptations：　th
