他必按公平引领谦卑人，将他的道教训他们（诗25：9）。 温柔的人有福了（太5：5）。 我转念：见日光之下，快跑的未必能赢，力战的未必得胜，智慧的未必得粮食，明哲的未必得货财，灵巧的未必得喜悦（传9：11）。人心筹算自己的道路，惟耶和华指引他的脚步（箴16：9）。坐在天上的主啊，我向你举目。看哪，仆人的眼睛怎样望主人的手，使女的眼睛怎样望主母的手，我们的眼睛也照样望耶和华我们的 神（诗123：1，2）。求你使我知道当行的路，因我的心仰望你（诗143：8）。我们的 神啊，你不惩罚他们吗？因为我们无力抵挡这来攻击我们的大军，我们也不知道怎样行，我们的眼目单仰望你（代下20：12）。你们中间若有缺少智慧的，应当求那厚赐与众人、也不斥责人的 神，主就必赐给他（雅1：5）。

主是帮助我的，我必不惧怕，人能把我怎么样呢（来13：6）？ 谁能使我们与基督的爱隔绝呢？难道是患难吗？是困苦吗？是逼迫吗？是饥饿吗？是赤身露体吗？是危险吗？是刀剑吗？然而，靠着爱我们的主，在这一切的事上，已经得胜有余了（罗8：35，37）。那杀身体以后不能再作什么的，不要怕他们。我要指示你们当怕的是谁，当怕那杀了以后又有权柄丢在地狱里的，我实在告诉你们：正要怕他（路12：4，5）。为义受逼迫的人有福了，因为天国是他们的。人若因我辱骂你们，逼迫你们，捏造各样坏话毁谤你们，你们就有福了。应当欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的赏赐是大的（太5：10…12）。我却不以性命为念，也不看为宝贵，只要行完我的路程（徒20：24）。我要在君王面前论说你的法度，并不至于羞愧（诗119：46）。 I will not fear what man shall do unto me。 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ？ shall tribulation； or distress； or persecution； or famine； or nakedness； or peril； or sword？ Nay； in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us。 Be not afraid of them that kill the body； and after that have no more that they can do。 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear： Fear him； which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell： yea； I say unto you； Fear him。 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake： for their's is
